Braindoos ran a WCAG 2.1-referenced accessibility audit against its own corporate website, then treated every finding as tracked engineering work rather than a one-off cleanup pass. Each issue was logged as an individually numbered task, mapped to a WCAG success criterion, a delivery milestone, and — once implemented — the commit that resolved it. Before any fix was written, a design review re-checked the audit’s own assumptions against the current code and changed two of them, removing two findings that turned out not to be real defects once their rendering context was examined.
Seventeen tasks were tracked. Remediations delivered include accessible contact-form validation with proper error messaging, correctly-stated FAQ disclosure controls, a properly labelled navigation landmark, corrected heading levels, motion-preference handling in both styles and scripts, and localized cookie-consent copy.
Independent verification against the current codebase — not just the project’s own completion record — found the work genuine but not yet complete in two specific, disclosed ways: skip-link keyboard-navigation targets reach six of seven intended templates, with the seventh confirmed still unremediated; and a colour-contrast fix corrected three files while the same failing colour remains in live use in two others. A fifty-criterion instrument for live, rendered validation — covering keyboard operation, screen-reader behaviour and rendered contrast — has been designed and prepared but not yet executed.
This account makes no claim of WCAG 2.1 conformance, sitewide or per page. What it demonstrates is a disciplined, traceable approach to accessibility work: findings verified before being trusted, remediation tracked to source, and honest disclosure of what remains open.
